It’s the final day of the MLB regular season. After today, we’ll be headed to the MLB playoffs, with the exception of tomorrow’s potential doubleheader between the New York Mets and Atlanta Braves. Therefore, I’ve looked at all 15 games on today’s MLB slate and decided on the best three bets via the AI computer model. Here’s one of three bets to consider at top-rated sportsbooks.
The AI Model likes the Astros to earn a 4.2-3.4 win over the Guardians today. With both teams heading to the playoffs, there won’t be much action to avoid injuries. However, the Astros still match up better. At +155 via Bet365, the Astros still have value.

Houston Astros vs. Cleveland Guardians

Nick Sandlin Pitching For Cleveland
The Guardians will rock with Nick Sandlin today. The right-hander has allowed a .231 ISO and wOBA of .411 to his last 45 batters.
Sandlin has also allowed 48.1% of hard contact and has given up an 11.1% barrel percentage in his last 45 batters.
He’ll go up against an Astros lineup with four batters hitting an ISO of at least .222 against righties over the last month. This game could be a struggle for Sandlin.
Gusto’s Debut
Ryan Gusto will make his MLB debut today. The right-hander finished Triple-A with an 8-6 record and a 3.70 ERA this season. He’ll battle a Cleveland lineup that hasn’t shown consistent power against righties over the last month.
More batters haven’t walked much against righties in the Cleveland lineup, and four batters with a high strikeout rate. I’ll put my money on Gusto. Typically, Houston has some great pitchers in the farm system.
