Over the next few days, we have a loaded NBA slate with the second-round matchups from all four series. Here’s one of the best bets for Game 1 of Cleveland and Boston.
The Cavaliers are expected to lose the Game 1 matchup to the Boston Celtics, 110-100 on the road. However, Cleveland is, currently, +11 at the top betting sites. However, I don’t love that play.
What I do love is the Over at 208.5, despite the implied score, from our NBA AI model, of 210. Therefore, the Over looks to be the play here.

Boston’s Offense Is Elite
The Celtics are typically super consistent offensively. Take their most recent game against the Heat, for example.
The Celtics scored 125 points per 100 possessions and added a 66.7% effective field goal percentage in a game the Celtics really wanted.
Boston doesn’t get to the foul line enough and won’t have Kristaps Porzingis available any time soon. However, the Celtics can still shoot lights out with or without him.
Jarrett Allen is Still Questionable
Cleveland struggled offensively against the Magic in the first-round series. They did enough to win, but the Cavaliers’ offense will need to improve if they want to win this game.
Jarrett Allen is still questionable with a rib injury. But it’s likely the big man could return for the Cavaliers any game now. That would help the offense tremendously. He was scoring at will against the Magic earlier in the series.
