- NBA Pick: Cavaliers +15.5 (-110) at Bet365
We’re headed to Game 5 of the NBA Playoffs, and no team has been eliminated from the second round of the playoffs! Here’s what the computer model is thinking for one of the Game 5 matchups.
Our AI Model predicts the Celtics will dominate the Cavaliers, 110-96. However, the Cavaliers are 15.5-point underdogs at the top sportsbooks, which would still give the Cavaliers the win against the spread. In an elimination game, the Cavaliers should stick around on the road.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Boston Celtics

Are The Cavs Doomed?
The Cleveland Cavaliers could potentially be without Jarrett Allen and Donovan Mitchell for Game 5 of this series. Without those two, the series will be over. However, the model still thinks the Cavaliers can hold on to at least cover the spread.
After all, the Cavaliers only lost by seven to the Celtics in Game 4 with the same personnel they’ll have in Game 5. While they’ll be on the road, Darius Garland stepped up, and Evan Mobley almost contributed a double-double.
Jayson Tatum Was Still Inefficient in Game 4
On the other hand, it was great to see Jayson Tatum drop 33 points for the Celtics. He rarely led the team in scoring throughout the postseason. But he did in Game 4.
Still, he only shot 11-for-25 from the field and hit just 2-for-8 from downtown. He wasn’t efficient; he just took more shots.
NBA Computer Pick
The Celtics have an eight-man rotation, but only two players added more than 16 points against the Cavaliers in Game 4. Jaylen Brown was more efficient than Tatum, but he took only 15 shots.
Therefore, I don’t mind grabbing the Cavaliers at +15.5 and -110 NBA odds in a desperation game for Cleveland.
