North Carolina hasn’t faced Virginia this season. A road game will be a bit tricky. However, North Carolina has some of the best scorers in college basketball. It’s unlikely Virginia keeps up offensively with the Tar Heels.

Virginia has shot 47.9% from inside the arc this season. The Cavaliers have also earned 26% offensive rebounds and have shot 64.2% from the foul line this season.
Meanwhile, while Virginia has a terrific defense, North Carolina’s offensive numbers still pop out. The Tar Heels have shot 75.4% from the foul line and have hit 35.6% from deep. North Carolina will earn more offensive rebounds and likely get to the foul line more often on the road.

Since the loss to Oklahoma, the Oklahoma State Cowboys have added back-to-back wins over BYU and Cincinnati. They’re read hot, and while the Cowboys aren’t playing for a March Madness automatic bid, Oklahoma State has found its groove.
The Cowboys will likely foul less and see the foul line more. They’ve also watched teams shoot over 75% from the foul line against them this season. That rate should start to regress down the stretch.
Oklahoma has hit only 68.6% from the foul line this season, which is clearly a good situation for the Cowboys.

Texas Longhorns vs. Kansas Jayhawks

The AI Model has Texas losing to Kansas, 76-68. That’s an eight-point loss. However, Texas is an 8.5-point underdog at Bet365. The edge is on the road underdogs in this Big 12 matchup.

It’s been an interesting 2024 for the Kansas Jayhawks. They’ve lost five games in the year and are now 20-6 this season.
Kansas is coming off a win against Oklahoma but had lost to Texas Tech and Kansas State earlier this year on the road.
Typically, Kansas is poor on the road. They’ve been better at home. But even at home, in their last game at Allen Fieldhouse, Kansas only escaped Baylor, 64-61.
Texas Longhorns
Texas has ultimately shot it better from three-point range and has hit a higher rate at the foul line. The Longhorns have also dominated the offensive glass, earning 31% of offensive rebounds.
Meanwhile, Kansas has earned just 25.6% of offensive rebounds. They’re not going to earn as many second chances as the Longhorns in this game.
