We’ve got another massive slate of games in the MLB tonight. With our computers‘ help, we’ve delivered our favorite three bets of the night. Here’s one of three you’ll want to consider to begin the weekend right, with the best MLB odds we could find at top sportsbooks.
The AI Model projects the Diamondbacks and Dodgers to tie 4-4. However, that would mean eight runs in total, but Caesars has the total at 8.5. Therefore, the Under would be the play in this game.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Arizona Diamondbacks
Friday, August 30, 2024 – 09:40 PM ET at Chase Field
Clayton Kershaw’s Figuring It Out
Dodgers veteran lefty Clayton Kershaw has only earned 16.7% of strikeouts over the last month, yet he’s located very well.
Kershaw has walked only 4.6% of batters over the last 30 days and has allowed a .082 ISO and wOBA of .298 to his previous 108 batters.
He’s also earned 44.4% of ground balls and has allowed just 17.3% of fly balls.
That won’t help the Diamondbacks, who are already hitting a low .127 ISO and wOBA of .292 against lefties over the last month.
Gallen Can Hold It Down, Too
Zac Gallen has held his last 123 batters to a .099 ISO and wOBA of .318. He’s induced a high rate of grounders and isn’t allowing much contact in the air.
In addition, his strikeout rate is just 20.3% over the last month, but it has a chance to get higher against a Dodgers lineup with six batters who have struck out at least 23.8% of the time.
Los Angeles is hit or miss with its power, but if Kershaw holds it down, it’s unlikely Gallen will give up all the runs to lose the Under.
MLB Computer Pick
Back the AI Model and take the Under 8.5 in this game.
