The Los Angeles Dodgers haven’t hit lefties very well over the last month. Using the projected lineup, the Dodgers have hit a .150 ISO and wOBA of .312 against lefties in the previous 30 days.
Meanwhile, they’ll take on Matthew Boyd of the Guardians, who has held his last 86 batters to a .125 ISO and wOBA of .231.
Boyd can hold his own against the Dodgers. He’s struck out 23.3% of batters in the last 30 days and has walked just 5.8%.
Cleveland Isn’t Much Better
The Guardians are also not one of the hotter offenses right now. Instead, as a lineup, the Guardians have hit a .182 ISO and wOBA against righties in the last 30 days.
Meanwhile, they’ll battle Landon Knack of the Dodgers, who has held his last 16 batters to a .000 ISO and wOBA of .212. He won’t put away hitters with strikeouts, but he’ll likely limit line drives and fly balls. That’ll be enough to hold the Guardians in check.
