Cole Irvin hasn’t had the best numbers this season as a left-handed pitcher for the Orioles. He’s shut-down lefties but typically faces a lot more righties. Ultimately, he hasn’t been as good.
But he just needs to hold on. The lefty is facing a Rangers lineup that has struck out more than 24% of the time against lefties over the last month. He could increase his strikeout rate against lefties and create a solid game.
