Using our computer model, I’ve added three of my favorite bets for tonight’s portion of the MLB slate with the best value at the MLB odds boards.

MLB Pick: Nationals (-115) at Caesars Sportsbook

Washington Nationals vs. Colorado Rockies

Saturday, June 22, 2024 – 09:10 PM ET at Coors Field

Can Mitchell Parker Overcome Coors Field?

Mitchell Parker has been a great addition to the Nationals’ rotation this season. While he’s not adding a high rate of strikeouts, he’s limited walks and has held opponents to a .115 ISO and wOBA of .249 over the last 30 days.

He’ll have some difficult matchups in the Rockies’ projected order. However, he’ll also face off against four batters with an ISO of no better than .071. That’ll help him get out of damage when he needs to.

That said, the Nationals have also struck out 25.5% of the time against lefties over the last 30 days with their projected lineup. Parker’s strikeout rate could increase, even in Coors Field.

At Least The Nationals Put The Ball In Play

While the Nationals haven’t hit for much power against righties, the projected lineup has struck out just over 18% of the time against righties in the last month.

Cal Quantril will take the hill for the Rockies. He’s also not a high-strikeout pitcher. However, he’s walked 16.4% of his last 55 lefties and has allowed a wOBA of .313 over the last month.

He’s kept power down, but the Nationals can scrape out runs by just putting the ball in play.

MLB Computer Pick

The Nationals added 11 runs in yesterday’s game against the Rockies. They’re heating up. Take the Nationals at -115 on the road tonight.
