NBA Computer Picks for March 13: Bulls Set for Success

Tonight’s slate includes five more NBA matchups. The AI Model has been hot, so let’s see if we can earn some more profit using it for tonight’s picks.

Picks Summary

Brooklyn Nets vs. Chicago Bulls

Thursday, March 13, 2025 – 8:00 PM ET at United Center

The AI Model thinks the Bulls will escape the Nets with a 116-114 win. Meanwhile, you can catch the Bulls at -135 on the moneyline. There’s some legitimate value there.

Chicago Will Makes Things Difficult!

The Brooklyn Nets have shot a 52% effective field goal percentage, which is 25th in the NBA. They’re good on the offensive glass and consistently get to the foul line.

However, the Bulls have held teams to 26.4% of offensive rebounds and an 18.4 free throw rate. It’ll be hard for the Nets to capitalize on misses.

Meanwhile, the Bulls have also held teams to a 54.4% effective field goal percentage. That number is slightly above average.

The Nets won’t have it easy tonight.

Better Shots For Chicago

The Chicago Bulls have shot an effective field goal percentage of 55.2% and will face a Nets defense that has allowed a 56% effective field goal percentage.

The Bulls will get some great looks in this game. That said, they’re not usually great on the glass, but the Nets have allowed nearly 30% of offensive rebounds per game. Chicago certainly has a chance to add more offensive rebounds in this one.

Take the Bulls at -135 NBA odds on the moneyline.

Orlando Magic vs. New Orleans Pelicans

Thursday, March 13, 2025 – 8:00 PM ET at Smoothie King Center

The AI Model thinks the Magic and Pelicans will combine for 220 points. Meanwhile, the total is set at 217 via Bet365. There’s plenty of value on the Over in this game.

The Magic Must Crush On The Offensive Glass!

The Orlando Magic have statistically been one of the worst offenses in the NBA this season. However, they’re set to face the worst defense in the NBA.

The Pelicans rank 30th in defensive points per 100 possessions and have allowed an effective field goal percentage of 56.8%, with 31.4% of offensive rebounds.

The Magic should get some easy looks around the rim. In addition, the Magic have added 28.7% of offensive rebounds per game and should also be able to tally up second-chance opportunities.

Just Get To The Foul Line!

The New Orleans Pelicans are slightly better offensively. However, they’ll likely have more trouble trying to score against the Magic. That said, as long as the Pelicans stay aggressive, they’ll be fine.

The Magic rank dead last in defensive free throw rate. It’s always fun when you’ve got the over, and teams keep getting to the foul line to score points while the time is stopped.

Roll with the Over 217 using the AI Model.

NBA Pick: Over 217 (-110) at Bet365 (check our Bet365 Review)

Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors

Thursday, March 13, 2025 – 10:00 PM ET at Chase Center

The AI Model suggests the Warriors and Kings will add 233 points in tonight’s late-night game. However, the total is currently 233.5. According to our model, the under would be the play in this game.

The Warriors Can Get Stops!

The Golden State Warriors rank eighth in the NBA in points per 100 possessions allowed on defense. The team has held opponents to just a 54.2% effective field goal percentage, earned 15.4% of turnovers, and given up only 27.2% of offensive rebounds.

They’re one of the few teams that can stop the Kings. Sacramento has scored 116.5 points per 100 possessions due to a low turnover rate and a solid free throw rate. However, the Warriors should be able to add some more turnovers and will likely force the Kings into some bad shots.

Even if Domantas Sabonis returns to action, the Warriors should be solid defensively tonight.

No Consistent Offense From The Warriors?

The addition of Jimmy Butler has been terrific for the Warriors. Still, the Warriors rank 16th in the NBA in points per 100 possessions. They’ve shot just a 53.5% effective field goal percentage this season and rarely get to the foul line.

In addition, the Warriors are usually aggressive on the offensive glass. However, they’ll struggle to get many second chances against a Kings team that ranks No. 1 in the NBA in defensive rebounding.

Let’s grab the under 233.5 in this one.

NBA Pick: Under 233.5 (-110) at Bet365
