That should continue to be a problem for the Celtics, who are facing a Lakers team that ranks fourth in the NBA in free throw rate.
The Celtics Aren’t Elite Defensively!
The Celtics are a very complete team. Don’t get it mistaken. However, the Celtics still rank just 6th in defensive points per 100 possessions.
Boston will need to limit fouls in this game, especially since the Lakers rank first in the nation in free-throw rate.
The Lakers are also likely to win the turnover battle, as the Celtics have earned just 14.1% of turnovers per game this season. If the Lakers get to the foul line more and turn the ball over less, Los Angeles can pull off a massive upset.

Golden State Can Survive Without Top Players!
The Warriors could be without Steph Curry, Draymond Green and many other key pieces in tonight’s showdown against the Bulls.
Still, Golden State has limited teams to 112.6 points per 100 possessions on defense. They’ve also held teams to 26.8% of offensive rebounds.
That will be key, especially since the Bulls have added just 24% of offensive rebounds per game this season. In addition, the Bulls rank 29th in free throw rate. The Chicago offense won’t be very good tonight.
Golden State Is The Home Team!
The Golden State Warriors aren’t an elite offense, especially without many top players. However, the team should be able to limit turnovers and get a lot of shots up.
After all, the Bulls have gained just 12% of turnovers per game, which ranks 29th in the NBA. With few turnovers, the Warriors will have many chances to score points. That should help them get past the Bulls at home.

The Washington Wizards have been absolutely dreadful on offense. The defense hasn’t been much better.
However, Washington will face a Clippers offense that ranks 23rd in points per 100 possessions. Washington must capitalize on Los Angeles’ inability to score consistently.
The Clippers shoot a solid effective field goal percentage but still turn the ball over 16.4% of the time. If that number stays up, the Wizards should be able to capitalize.
Injuries To The Clippers
The Clippers didn’t have Kris Dunn, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, Norman Powell, or Nic Batum in last night’s game. Some of those guys could return tonight, but none of them will be in sync heading into tonight’s game.
With so many injuries on the Los Angeles side, I’ll back the Wizards at +13.5.
