There’s NBA action throughout the entire day! Therefore, I asked the AI Model for help finding the best bets for tonight’s slate. Here’s what it came back with.

Picks Summary

Utah Jazz vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

Sunday, March 16, 2025 – 7:00 PM ET at Target Center

The AI Model thinks the Timberwolves and Jazz will combine for 232 points. Meanwhile, Caesars currently has the total for this game at 233. The Under is the most valuable play in this game.

The Jazz Offense Doesn’t Match Up Well

The Utah Jazz have scored 111.6 points per 100 possessions and turned the ball over 17.4% of the time. Ultimately, Utah is usually good on the offensive glass and gets to the foul line at a solid rate.

However, the Timberwolves have held teams to 27.7% of offensive rebounds and an 18.1 free throw rate. Minnesota’s defense cancels out whatever the Jazz are good at.

After all, the Timberwolves have held teams to 111.4 points per 100 possessions, which is 5th in the NBA.

How Can The Jazz Hold Minnesota?

The Timberwolves should get much better looks in this game. It’s also likely the Timberwolves will keep turnovers down, especially since the Jazz rank dead last in turnovers earned on defense.

However, Utah still limits teams to 27.5% offensive rebounds and a 19.2% free-throw rate, which are good enough numbers for the Jazz. Utah should be able to limit second chances and foul shots, just like the Timberwolves can against the Jazz.

Take the Under 233 at -110 NBA odds in this one.

NBA Pick: Under 233 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook (check our Caesars Sportsbook Review)

Charlotte Hornets vs. Los Angeles Clippers

Sunday, March 16, 2025 – 7:00 PM ET at Intuit Dome

The AI Model believes the Clippers will add a 12-point win over the Hornets tonight. However, the Hornets are +12.5 against the spread at most sportsbooks. The Hornets are expected to cover per the AI Model.

The Hornets Are Playing Better!

The Charlotte Hornets have won three of their last four games. Ultimately, they’re healthy. Plus, they just scored 145 points against the Spurs on the road as underdogs.

Although the Hornets haven’t been consistent on offense, they have added more than 30% of offensive rebounds per game.

In addition, the Hornets don’t see the foul line often but could get there more often since the Clippers are slightly below average in defensive free throw rate.

The Clippers Don’t Stand Out Offensively

The Los Angeles Clippers rank 20th in points per 100 possessions. They’ve shot just a 54.9% effective field goal percentage but also turn the ball over 15.5% of the time.

The Clippers also have added below 27% of offensive rebounds, but they do get to the foul line at a slightly above-average rate.

Heading into this game, the Clippers don’t even know if they’ll have Norman Powell, who is a game-time decision. Kris Dunn has also already been ruled out.

There’s no way I’m backing the Clippers at -12.5. Give me the Hornets instead.

NBA Pick: Hornets +12.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Milwaukee Bucks

Sunday, March 16, 2025 – 9:00 PM ET at Fiserv Forum

The AI Model suggests the Thunder will add a 117-116 victory over the Bucks. However, the Bucks are +3.5 against the spread and would absolutely cover in this scenario.

The Thunder Won’t See The Foul Line!

The Oklahoma City Thunder has become one of the best offenses in the NBA. They’ve scored 120.3 points per 100 possessions and turned the ball over just 11.7 percent of the time.

That said, the Bucks have limited teams to 25.7% of offensive rebounds and have allowed just a 17.6% free-throw rate. The Thunder are already below average in these two areas. They won’t be able to take advantage of the offensive glass and likely won’t see the foul line much.

Surely, the Thunder won’t pull away without adding second chances and points when the clock is stopped.

Milwaukee Does The Little Things!

The Milwaukee Bucks likely won’t have it easy finding easy buckets. At the end of the day, the Thunder have allowed 107.3 points per 100 possessions and rank No. 1 in three major defensive categories.

That said, the Thudner have allowed 29.3% of offensive rebounds and have given up a 21.3 free throw rate.

The Bucks are never really aggressive on the glass. But it’s likely the Bucks will at least add a few more second chances and more foul shot attempts.

That’ll keep them in the game. Take the Bucks at +3.5.

NBA Pick: Bucks +3.5 (-110) at Bet365 (check our Bet365 Review)
