The Pacific Division is loaded with talent this season. It’s truly anyone’s division in that league. The Kings, projected to finish last in the division this year, ended up winning last year.

Here’s my take on the Pacific Division, which includes a best bet.

Top NBA Pick

Phoenix Suns to Win Division (+165) at Caesars Sportsbook (check our Caesars Sportsbook Review)

NBA Pacific Division Preview

The Pacific Division is loaded with talent heading into the 2023-’24 season.

Last year, nobody saw the Kings leading the Pacific Division. However, Sacramento won 48 games and the division by three games over the Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Clippers, Golden State Warriors, and Los Angeles Lakers.

The standings in the division will likely be crowded again. Every team has the potential to do big things this year in the 2023-’24 season.

Let’s break down each team’s chances of winning the division and look at their win totals for the year in the Pacific division.

Phoenix Suns

The Suns will look a little different compared to last year. Phoenix brought Bradley Beal and traded Chris Paul to the Golden State Warriors.

The Suns will have a Big Three of Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, and Kevin Durant. They’ll also have Deandre Ayton, Josh Okogie, Eric Gordon, and Yuta Watanabe. The Suns don’t have much depth, but if the starters can stay healthy, they’ll be incredibly difficult out every single game.

NBA Pick: Phoenix Suns Over 51.5 Wins (-120) at Caesars Sportsbook

Golden State Warriors

The Warriors must also stay healthy to make a run in this year’s NBA season. They’ll still have Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, but Jordan Poole is now with Washington.

That means the Warriors will hope Andrew Wiggins can play an entire season. They’ll also hope Chris Paul can set the tone for the team this year.

The Warriors haven’t been super exciting recently, but with an entire season to prepare, the Warriors should put together a quality season. Klay Thompson needs to shoot better, and Draymond Green needs to continue facilitating despite Chris Paul being there.

I think they’ll be fine.

NBA Pick: Golden State Warriors Over 48.5 Wins (-115) at Caesars Sportsbook

Los Angeles Lakers

It’s put-up time for the Lakers. LeBron James isn’t getting any younger.

This team looks deep on paper. They’ll have D’Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis. They’re loaded with superstar talent, including Gabe Vincent, who has led many playoff games in points throughout his short career.

I genuinely believe the Lakers have everything in place to be super competitive this season. Still, James and Davis will miss games, ultimately hurting Los Angeles’ chances of winning 48 games.

I’ll take the Under at the NBA futures market, but still believe the Lakers can do damage in the playoffs when the time comes.

NBA Pick: Los Angeles Lakers Under 47.5 Wins (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers didn’t fix their roster from last year’s team. However, they expect Paul George and Kawhi Leonard to play an entire season.

The Clippers will be incredible if those two can stay on the court, but just like the Lakers, it’s unlikely that the Clippers won’t fall into the load management stuff with Leonard again this year.

The Clippers have some depth, but when the stars sit out, the depth gets shortened. Take Los Angeles to go Under 46.5 wins.

NBA Pick: Los Angeles Clippers Under 46.5 Wins (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Sacramento Kings

After winning the division last season, the Kings are expected to finish last in the division this year. That’s a bit disrespectful.

They don’t have Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, LeBron James, or Kawhi Leonard like the rest of the division, but the stars on this team don’t miss nearly as many games.

The lineup includes De’Aaron Fox, Kevin Huerter, Harrison Barnes, Keegan Murray, and Domantas Sabonis. That’s one of the best full-starting lineups in the league. These guys can average double figures and put up 25 on any night.

NBA Pick: Sacramento Kings Over 44.5 Wins (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Pacific Division Winner

A lot of super teams have been disasters over the last few seasons, but I don’t think the Suns will fall into that same trap.

Devin Booker has always been in Phoenix, and Bradley Beal has been one of the more loyal superstars in the game. He finally left Washington, but it was more of a mutual part.

Meanwhile, Kevin Durant was the last man standings in Brooklyn. He wanted to make things work. However, when Irving and Harden left him, he had no choice but to leave. Therefore, all three superstars have the right mindset and won’t ruin the Big Three they’ve formed.

Take the Suns to win the Pacific Division.
