The NFL keeps finding new ways of astounding us. Judging purely by the live NFL odds, Week 11 was a good one for the sharps and the sportsbooks, with underdogs going 9-6 ATS through Sunday’s games. But the favorites did go 10-4 SU, thanks to some of the weirdest football we’ve seen in quite a while.
Is this sustainable? Or will this chaos lead to bargain prices on the NFL odds Week 12?
NFL Odds Week 12 At-a-Glance
As usual, pro bettors appear to be avoiding the moneyline with their early action; our sources indicate sharper betting on the point spread, although they’re leaning on the favorites a bit more this week.
We’re also seeing quite a few big bets on the Over – but the wiseguys prefer the Under in several of those matchups, including our first featured contest on the NFL odds for Week 12.
Minnesota vs. Green Bay (GB –6.5)
Sunday, November 16, 2025 – 01:00 PM ET
There’s no question the Vikings (4-6 SU and ATS) have something special in QB J.J. McCarthy. But is he the Tim Tebow kind of special?
McCarthy (26.7 QBR in five starts) almost pulled another rabbit out of his hat last Sunday, only to watch the Chicago Bears erase Minnesota’s fourth-quarter comeback and win 19-17 as 2.5-point road dogs.
The Packers (6-3-1 SU, 3-7 ATS) are tied with New Orleans and Cincinnati for the worst ATS record in the league, but early reports show sharp money and big bets on Green Bay, enough to drive them from –3.5 at the open to –6.5 at press time.
Meanwhile, the total has plunged from 45.5 to as low as 41.5 despite some sizable wagers on the Over; the sharps were pounding the Under right out of the gate, circling around McCarthy yet respecting Minnesota’s quality defense.
Indianapolis vs. Kansas City (KC –3.5)
Sunday, November 16, 2025 – 01:00 PM ET
The NFL is filled with quarterbacks getting a second crack – or a third, or a fourth – at a starting gig.
Daniel Jones (66.6 QBR) has been one of this year’s top comeback stories, and after a reasonably strong performance in last week’s 31-25 overtime win over Atlanta, Jones and the Colts (8-2 SU, 6-3-1 ATS) are pulling in both sharp action and big bets for Sunday’s marquee matchup with Kansas City (5-5 SU and ATS).
However, those taps aren’t flowing quite as much when it comes to the total.
Sharp interest in the Over side of the Over/Under has bumped said total from 49.5 at the open to as high as 50.5 at press time, as Jones leads the top-performing offense in the league (plus-9.2 OSRS at Pro Football Reference) into what should be favorable weather conditions in K.C.
Tampa Bay vs. L.A. Rams (LAR –6.5)
Sunday, November 16, 2025 – 08:20 PM ET
They’ve seized control of the NFC West, but the Rams (8-2 SU, 7-3 ATS) needed one of those occasional bad days at the office from QB Sam Darnold to beat Seattle 21-19 last week as 3-point home faves.
And the Buccaneers (6-4 SU, 5-5 ATS) are watching their lead atop the NFC South slip away after back-to-back defeats against New England and Buffalo.
No surprise then to see everyone avoiding either side of this point spread, which hasn’t budged since the open. The total is also holding steady at 49.5, but you might see some 50s by the time you read this, given the sharp money on the Over – that was the right call in Tampa’s two losses, and six of their last eight games overall.
