Firstly, it’s great that Columbus has a chance to make the post-season, but realistically, their chances are slim, needing two wins from their final two games. Not only that, but they must also hope the Montreal Canadiens don’t win or tie either of their remaining two games.
On the flip side of that, Columbus is 4-0 in their previous four games, and Montreal is 2-2 in their previous four. Columbus has been fighting hard to get into this position but has also been lucky that Montreal is currently on a two game losing streak.

We cannot believe that the Columbus Blue Jackets are essentially in a win or go home situation, and they are underdogs on their own ice. If that wasn’t a big enough reason to bet them as underdogs, we must also factor in their 4-0 winning streak as well as tonight’s opponents, the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Calgary Flames are coming into this game sitting one win behind the St. Louis Blues having played one game less. If the Flames win tonight, both the Blues and Flames will be fighting for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference come their final games.
To be honest, we are kind of shocked Calgary somehow managed to get themselves into this position, having had a mediocre season, they were in a battle with Utah and Vancouver, but three wins in their last four games has seen them rise to 9th in the table.
It has also drastically helped their cause in the fact that St. Louis is 0-3 in their previous three games. Even if the Blues had gone 1-2, the Flames were out of contention.
Calgary has shown a lot of fighting spirit, and for that reason, we like the fact that they are at home and at plus money. Although it’s no surprise to understand why they are plus money when we see their opponents are one of the Stanley Cup favorites and winners in 2023.
The Pick
Vegas might be 2nd in the Western Conference and on top of the Pacific, but their travels to Calgary in the past have been mixed. With five wins in the previous 10 matchups, there have been a lot of random scorelines from 6-0 defeats to 6-1 victories.
We like that the Flames are in a must win spot and on home ice, Vegas have been hot lately going 7-3 in their last ten game but with just two regular season games remaining they might start to take the foot off the gas, and they could be surprised how hard the Flames come at them tonight.
