This is an NHL betting card for the ages, we have 14 games taking place and in our opinion, at least 10 or 11 of these games are going to be a hum-dinger of a matchup.

Our head was on a swivel when it came to making our picks, which is good sometimes as it’s always easier to go straight to the games you like best.

Tonight, we are targeting plus money all around in the NHL as we head to 3 different matchups.

Picks Summary

  • Sam Reinhart Anytime Goalscorer (+125)
  • Leon Draisaitl Anytime Goalscorer (+115)
  • Toronto in Regulation (+130)

Florida Panthers vs. Washington Capitals

Tuesday, February 04, 2025 – 09:00 PM ET at Capital One Arena

Reinhart For Three in a Row

What a season Sam Reinhart has been having for the Florida Panthers, having scored the joint 2nd most thus far this season with 31 goals in 54 games. Reinhart has been carrying his form over from last season when he was the second-highest scorer in the regular season with 57 goals.

He is currently projected to score at least 47 goals this season, which would most likely give him a top-five finish. That said, he has only scored 4 times in his last ten games, and prior to his previous two games back-to-back scoring games, he was only on 2 in 8 games.

The Pick

Yes, Alex Ovechkin is only 9 goals away from the great Wayne Gretzky record, and he might score a goal (or two), but we believe the red-hot hand is worth rolling with. Not only are we getting Reinhart on a two-game scoring streak, but he has proven to be one of the top goal scorers in this league with the 7th most scored in the previous three seasons (only three goals from the 4th most).

Take Reinhart to get on the scoreboard in Washington at +125 NHL betting odds, we like this down to +105.

NHL Pick: Sam Reinhart Anytime Goalscorer (+125) at Bet365

Edmonton Oilers vs. St. Louis Blues

Tuesday, February 04, 2025 – 08:00 PM ET at Enterprise Center

Draisaitl Loves Playing Away From Home

The league’s top goalscorer with 36 goals, Leon Draisaitl has been on a poor stretch of having scored only a goal in 4 of his previous 12 games. Having failed to score last time out, we are looking to bet on the Oilers forward to keep up his strong road-scoring record.

Having scored both 18 goals on home and away ice, he has only played in 23 road games compared to 29 this season. Even dating back to last year, Draisaitl played in both 40 games home and away and scored 25 goals on the road compared to 18 at home.

The Pick

The St. Louis Blues have had an average defense this season, allowing a somewhat respectable 3.02 goals per game, but that said they come up against the league’s top goalscorer in Leon Draisaitl.

Draisaitl’s scoring has been patchy lately, having only scored in 4 of those 12 games, but last time out he failed to score, so we believe tonight he will get back on the scoresheet at plus money against the St Luis Blues.

Interestingly Draisaitl has failed to score in the Oilers’ previous six wins, we also believe that trend will change tonight.

NHL Pick: Leon Draisaitl Anytime Goalscorer (+115) at Bet365

Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Calgary Flames

Tuesday, February 04, 2025 – 09:00 PM ET at Scotiabank Saddledome

Flames Solid on Home Ice

Coming into this home game against Canadian rivals Toronto, the Calgary Flames have had a somewhat respectable home form sitting at 16-8-3. Albeit their opponents Toronto have gone 12-8-2 when playing on the road (which is respectable road form).

Coming into this game Toronto is 4-6 in their previous 10 compared to Calgary’s 5-5, but with that being said Toronto sits 2nd overall in the Eastern Conference when it comes to points per game, while Calgary is 8th overall in the West.

The Pick

The Maple Leafs have gone 8-2 against the Flames in their previous 10 meetings, and tonight we like their odds to win this game in regulation at +130 with Bet365.

This is a nice chunk of value, although there is a slight chance we see overtime here, we are willing to take the risk given the odds available on the Maple Leafs winning this game in regulation.

NHL Pick: Toronto in Regulation (+130) at Bet365
