Bedard, No Problem
He might not be able to carry the Chicago Blackhawks entirely on his back but the 2nd year NHL player has been one of the league’s best young players since joining the league. Last season he dominated almost all the top offensive stats for the Chicago Blackhawks and thus far this season he has started just how he left off.
Bedard has scored 7 points in 7 games (along with Seth Jones and Teuvo Teravainen), but let’s be real here we all know he is going to outscore both come the season’s end if he manages to play in every game and stay fit and healthy.
The Vancouver-born star has only managed to score a point in three of seven games this season, and when he scores he tends to do so in doubles and trebles, so tonight we are more than happy to take the +150 odds on Bedard to score 2+ points.

Bedard has gone two games without a point, we suspect on home ice tonight he will be looking to bring it. Although the Nashville Predators are a strong outfit, we like the +150 odds on Bedard to see over 1.5 points and would happily bet this down to +130.

Skinner One of Few Shining Lights
It’s been a disastrous start to the NHL for the Stanley Cup runners-up last season the Edmonton Oilers, averaging only two goals per game and allowing almost four goals per game. The Oilers have started 2-4-1 and sit 7th overall in the Pacific division.
Of course, Connor McDavid has been on point but a new shining light in the Oilers’ attacking armory is 32-year-old Jeff Skinner. Having joined from the Buffalo Sabres at the end of last season, Skinner has a respectable 4 points in 7 games.
Skinner has been averaging 4 shots per game and against another weak defensive team in the Pittsburgh Penguins he should get plenty of opportunities to find the back of the net tonight.

Jeff Skinner has been very strong against the Penguins in recent years, scoring 10 goals in his previous 10 games as well as 12 assists. We believe that tonight’s game will be high-scoring on both ends which should give Skinner an opportunity to score at +135 NHL betting odds.
