The Orioles will roll out Dean Kremer for tonight’s matchup against the Rockies. The right-handed starter has allowed a .096 ISO and wOBA of .293 to his last 119 batters. He’s done a tremendous job keeping extra-base hits off the box scores thanks to his 14.6% line drive percentage.
While the Rockies have lots of power against righties, they’ve also collectively struck out 28% of the time against righties over the last month with their projected lineup.
Kremer should add a quality start, even in Coors Field, with these numbers.
Don’t Sleep on Ryan Feltner
Ryan Feltner isn’t a household name. But he’s a starter for the Rockies who has held his last 53 batters to a .120 ISO. Feltner, like Kremer, has done well limiting extra-base hits and has allowed just 18.2% of fly balls in that time.
Meanwhile, the Orioles’ projected lineup has hit a .306 wOBA against righties over the last 30 days. They’re not getting on base like they did earlier in the season against righties.
