After dispatching the battle-tested Tampa Bay Lightning in five games, the Panthers have hit a bump in the road with the Bruins. Blown out 5-1 in the first game, Florida rebounded with three straight victories, outscoring Boston 15-5 in those contests before suffering a Game 5 setback.
The Bruins’ goalie, Jeremy Swayman, stole the show and the 2-1 win with a 28-save performance. This will undoubtedly motivate the Panthers to come out firing.

The Bruins understand they are in survival mode and the only way to bring this series back to the Sunshine State is to defeat the Panthers on Friday night.
However, there is a talent disparity between these teams that has been difficult for Boston to bridge. The Panthers are the more physical and offensively explosive team, averaging 3.70 goals per game in the postseason against Boston’s 2.50 GPG mark.
The only way the Bruins hang tough is if Swayman has another showstopping performance but Florida’s Sergei Bobrovsky is formidable in his own right.
