The AI Model projects the Dodgers and Phillies will only add eight runs combined. With the total currently at nine via Bet365, the Under 9 is one of the most appealing bets on tonight’s slate.
The Dodgers Aren’t Very Appealing
The Dodgers have a couple of righties who can do damage against Tyler Phillips. However, most of Los Angeles’s lineup is left-handed. That’s not ideal when facing Tyler Phillips, who has held his last 42 lefties to a .100 ISO and wOBA of .198 with 50% of ground balls induced.
Plus, righties have hit a .142 ISO and wOBA of .290 against other righties over the last month. The Dodgers don’t really stick out against Phillips.
The Phillies Have A Hard Time Getting On Base
Philadelphia’s projected lineup has hit a .159 ISO but has a wOBA of .290 against righties over the last month.
Meanwhile, Gavin Stone has allowed just 3.3% of walks when on the mound for the Dodgers over the last month. He won’t give any free passes. Therefore, the Phillies will have to work to get on base, and they’ve just struggled mightily to do that.
