Meanwhile, he’ll have to face Shohei Ohtani, who joined the 50-50 club for home runs and stolen bases last night. He’s been red-hot and will be hard to get out tonight.
That said, the rest of the Dodgers are also red-hot. The projected lineup has hit a .270 ISO and wOBA of .362 against lefties in the last 30 days. It’s just that Freeland has held his last 97 righties to a .137 ISO and wOBA of .260. I’d expect Freeland to get hit around a little bit, but not tremendously.
The Rockies Have Struggled
The Colorado Rockies have been the opposite of the Dodgers. The projected lineup against lefties has hit a .115 ISO and wOBA of .276 with 28.4% of strikeouts over the last 30 days.
Although Justin Wrobleski is on the mound, the Dodgers should still be able to shut down the Rockies throughout the game. Colorado just has no consistency.
