It’s rivalry week! There are some amazing games on the slate. Therefore, we’ve added some last-minute selections from our computer predictions for this week’s college football slate.

Picks Summary

Florida State Seminoles vs. Florida Gators

Saturday, November 25, 2023 – 07:00 PM ET at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium

Our AI Model likes the Gators to lose, 34-31, to the Seminoles on Saturday. But with Florida sitting at +6.5, the Gators have some value against the spread.

Everything has changed for Florida State. Jordan Travis is injured and out for the remainder of the season. At 11-0, the Seminoles have aspirations of winning the ACC and the College Football Playoff. Without Travis, everything feels like it’s about to go downhill.

The Seminoles will roll with Tate Rodemaker, who is a junior quarterback with only 93 passing attempts in his career. He’s completed over 60% of his passes and has seven touchdowns with five interceptions in college.

The only good news for Florida State is that Rodemaker has been with the program since 2020. So at least he’s got that going for him.

Florida’s Quarterback Transition

Meanwhile, Florida needs to beat Florida State to be bowl-eligible. The Gators will also be without their star quarterback, Graham Mertz, after he also went down with a season-ending injury last weekend.

Therefore, freshman Max Brown will take over as quarterback for Florida. Brown rushed seven times for 42 yards against Missouri when he subbed in for Mertz. That’s a dynamic that Mertz didn’t have.

Brown also completed four of five passes for 56 yards. The offensive staff simplified things for Brown, and he delivered in a tight game against Missouri.

That’s why I like Florida’s chances of covering and potentially winning. This rivalry is taken seriously. Florida will be ready to go home.

NCAAF Pick: Florida +6.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Kansas Jayhawks vs. Cincinnati Bearcats

Saturday, November 25, 2023 – 7:30 PM ET at Nippert Stadium

Our AI Model believes Kansas will earn a 39-26 win over Cincinnati. As 6-point favorites on Unibet, the Jayhawks have value on the board right now.

If Jason Bean was a game-time decision last weekend, it’s likely he’ll actually play for the Jayhawks this weekend.

Kansas has lost two straight games. They started Jason Bean against Texas Tech, but he got hurt. Therefore, Cole Ballard played quarterback for Kansas in the second half. He wasn’t very good, and Kansas dropped that game 16-13.

Last weekend, with Bean questionable, the Jayhawks went with Ballard again against Kansas State. He performed better, but Kansas dropped another game. Now the Jayhawks are 7-4 on a two-game losing streak. Bean should be back in the lineup for Kansas against a 3-8 Cincinnati squad.

It hasn’t just been Bean with the offensive production. Devin Neal has been a workhorse. He’s got 13 touchdowns on the ground after 173 carries. Neal has averaged 6.4 yards a carry this season and has already surpassed 1,100 yards.

Kansas Set to Dominate

The Cincinnati defense has struggled against the run. They’ve also missed plenty of tackles and aren’t even that good in the secondary. The pass rush is just effective enough to make the secondary look somewhat good.

Kansas should dominate offensively in this game.

On the other hand, the Bearcats have nothing to play for but some pride. The offense has been a struggle outside of the run game. Corey Kiner has added 5.4 yards per carry for 941 yards. He’s on pace for a 1,000-yard season which is something the team can celebrate. However, Kansas isn’t bad against the run. They’ll make it hard for Kiner and the Bearcats.

Let’s side with the AI Model and take Kansas -6.

NCAAF Pick: Kansas -6 (-110) at Unibet

Colorado State Rams vs. Hawaii Rainbow Warriors

Saturday, November 25, 2023 – 11:00 PM ET at Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex

The AI Model suggests Hawaii will win Saturday’s matchup, 30-23. As a 6-point favorite, this is a no-brainer bet. You can even think about sprinkling some money on the moneyline!

The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors are very similar to Colorado State.

Hawaii can’t make a bowl game. They’re just 4-6 on the season. But that won’t stop Brayden Schager from playing his final game of the season for Hawaii. Schager has thrown for 3,222 yards with 25 touchdowns and 14 interceptions this year. His QBR of 36.1 is bad, but Colorado State’s quarterback doesn’t have a much better QBR.

Colorado State’s quarterback, Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi, has thrown for 20 touchdowns and 3,143 yards. But he’s also added 15 interceptions in 11 games.

Hawaii Has the Home Advantage

Hawaii is solid against the run and should be able to force some interceptions in the secondary.

On the other hand, Colorado State’s defense has performed well this season. But Hawaii’s offense is also much better than Colorado State’s. At home, the Rainbow Warriors will have an advantage. While they only scored nine points against Wyoming on the road, Hawaii added at least 27 points in the two games prior to that one against solid squads like Nevada and Air Force.

Meanwhile, Colorado State is fighting for a bowl berth, but that doesn’t automatically give them a win. A road game against Hawaii won’t be easy, especially when the quarterback continues to make mistakes.

Take Hawaii at +6. You can even consider the moneyline for a bigger payout.

NCAAF Pick: Hawaii +6 (-110) at Unibet
