He'll likely be more of a low-end option in 12-team category leagues once the Nuggets are at full strength, but for the time being, fantasy managers can enjoy Brown's uptick in numbers on the offensive end.

While he won't help you significantly in any one category, he does have the ability to chip in across the board, making him a valuable commodity, especially in roto formats.

Numbers like this are obviously unsustainable moving forward but given his importance to the team, he should be a fringe standard league option the rest of the way.

Brown logged in excess of 30 minutes for the third time in his last four games, providing serviceable production across the board. With the Nuggets down on troops, it was Brown who stepped up, something that shouldn't come as a surprise. He currently sits just outside the top 120 for the season, making him a viable 12-team commodity. While he isn't necessarily a must-roster player, he is certainly worth grabbing on low-volume nights such as this.

Brown was very efficient from the field with an 8-for-10 line, which isn't particularly surprising since he's shot over 50 percent each of the past two campaigns. Despite the strong performance, Brown will likely move back to the bench when Murray presumably returns for Denver's next contest, so there's no need to rush to the waiver wire.

Brown should again be in store for an expanded role in Tuesday's rematch with the Raptors, though he could see a downturn in his opportunities as soon as Thursday's game against the Heat, when Durant could be ready to put an end to his extended absence.

Brown has been thriving of late with Kevin Durant (hamstring) riding the pine. He has certainly moved into the standard league conversation and there should probably be a spot in most leagues for the former Piston. As soon as Durant returns, Brown's role is likely to regress but until then, throw him on the end of your bench and enjoy the ride.

Brooklyn had all of its stars available versus Golden State, but the Nets took down the Warriors with a more balanced approach on offense, as six players finished with between 14 and 23 points. Don't expect that to occur too frequently, especially since Brown needed to hit two-thirds of his shot attempts to achieve his second-best scoring total of the season.
