BetMGM has recently bolstered its online casino offerings courtesy of an agreement with Freemantle, a British multinational television production and distribution company based in London, which will allow legendary shows like Family Feud and The Price is Right on its iGaming menu.
Multi-Year Deal
There are few TV shows with the universal appeal of Family Feud and The Price is Right. BetMGM agreed to partner with Fremantle to gain the exclusive online casino rights to those iconic game show titles. BetMGM’s tech team will be busy integrating these two popular brands into slots, table games, as well as non-traditional mobile casino games.
“Our exclusive deal with BetMGM and our premier game show IP represents a significant milestone for us both,” said Suzanne Lopez, Chief Operating Officer of Fremantle North America. “This innovative collaboration paves the way for in-game branding across diverse online casino categories while also providing opportunities for integrated TV sponsorships. It’s all about enhancing how fans of ‘The Price Is Right’ and ‘Family Feud’ connect with the shows in fresh, immersive ways.”
Exclusive Sponsorship Opportunities
BetMGM will also gain advertising as an exclusive sponsor during special episodes of both shows throughout the upcoming seasons. Details have not been released as to when these BetMGM shows will be televised, but they will be announced as the season progresses.
BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “This partnership unlocks various ways for BetMGM and Fremantle to collaborate and expand our brand.”
“Family Feud and The Price Is Right are two of the most popular game shows in North America, and we look forward to bringing their fun and excitement to our online casino in various exciting ways.”
BetMGM’s GameSense
BetMGM boasts over 3,500 online casino titles across North American markets and one of the most prodigious state-by-state exclusive jackpot networks. Some of BetMGM’s more popular jackpot titles are MGM Grand Millions, Bison Fury, Loot’En Khamun, and the Dead Sea Scrolls.
As for responsible gaming, BetMGM owns GameSense, an industry-leading responsible gambling program, developed and licensed by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation to MGM Resorts. GameSense has been rolled out in MGM Resorts retail casino properties and its online casino offerings.
Partnership for Responsible Gaming
Moreover, before last year’s NFL season, MGM Resorts and BetMGM became one of the first gaming operators to promote responsible gaming throughout nine NFL stadiums.
Those stadiums include:
- Acrisure Stadium (Pittsburgh Steelers)
- Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas Raiders)
- Empower Field at Mile High (Denver Broncos)
- Ford Field (Detroit Lions)
- GHEA Field at Arrowhead Stadium (Kansas City Chiefs)
- M&T Bank Stadium (Baltimore Ravens)
- MetLife Stadium (New York Jets)
- Nissan Stadium (Tennessee Titans)
- State Farm Stadium (Arizona Cardinals)
“This is an extraordinary moment as we work with our team partners to raise awareness about responsible gaming,” said Rhea Loney, Chief Compliance Officer, BetMGM. “Throughout the season, GameSense will play a pivotal role in reminding football fans who bet, to do so responsibly.”
Stephen Martino, SVP Chief Compliance Officer, MGM Resorts, said, “The landscape of the gaming industry has evolved dramatically in recent years with the broad legalization of online gambling and sports betting. Collaboration among operators and stakeholders is essential to ensure that responsible gaming remains a top priority. These efforts are vital to giving guests, customers, employees, and companies the tools and information needed for a safe and enjoyable experience.”
