DraftKings, one of the top-rated sportsbooks, has announced there is a multimillion jackpot waiting to be hit through any one of its 26 eligible online games in Michigan, and the pot continues to grow.
Pay to Play
DraftKings now has the largest online jackpot in history at $6.5 million, and it will only get bigger until it is hit. However, if you want to win, you must play one of the 26 eligible digital games being offered in Michigan, including DraftKings Rocket, DraftKings Fire Buffalo, and DraftKings Blackjack. Customers in Michigan must be 21 or over to play and are required to opt in to be eligible for the grand prize.
The jackpot is separate from the game itself, as an independent random number generator determines the winner. The cost to enter is an additional 20 cents per spin, round, or hand depending on which of the 26 linked games the customer chooses to play. Users are not required to participate and can avoid the 20-cent surcharge but will not be eligible for the jackpot.
“A jackpot in Michigan just surpassed $6.46 million, making it the LARGEST in online casino history!” DraftKings said, posting on X on Friday.
Jackpot Fever
As of this writing, the jackpot has grown to more than $6.5 million, making it the largest in online gaming history. The previous record was set on August 19th when a New Jersey customer won $6.45 million at BetMGM Casino on its Fruit Blaster digital machine.
DraftKings released the following statement:

“Our current $6.46 million jackpot is monumental not only for DraftKings but for us in Michigan, and we look forward to celebrating the winner of this record-setting jackpot.”
