Supremeland Gaming Wins License in Michigan’s iGaming Market

General View Ford Field Detroit Lions

Supremeland Gaming Inc. is an iGaming content provider whose license was recently approved in Michigan and is now active in four states that offer online casino gambling.

Let’s take a further look into this recent approval and its potential impact on top-rated sportsbooks

Great Lakes Market

It is fair to say that Swedish-American iGaming supplier, Supremeland Gaming, is on a roll after locking up licenses in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, West Virginia and now Michigan. There are only three iGaming states left where Supremeland has not made its entrance including Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island. However, with the way this upstart has been winning license approvals, it appears earning licenses in the remaining markets is only a matter of time.

Rickard Öhrn, the CEO of Supremeland Gaming, said, “It is correct that we have gained approval for supplier licenses in Pennsylvania and Michigan as well as interim licenses in New Jersey and West Virginia. As our business is primarily focused on the North American online casino market, our goal is to have Supplier Licenses in all US States that accept iGaming, over time. We’re currently in multiple processes and expect to announce our fifth approval in the near future.”

Companies like Supremeland Gaming are not online casinos themselves but rather a supplier that creates the casino games. Platform providers like DraftKings Casino and FanDuel Casino, to name just a few, will then use that content to enhance and bolster their libraries of virtual slot machines and other games that fall within the purview of what they can offer the gambling public.

Jackpot Alert

As of this writing, Supremeland has not revealed its partner(s) in Michigan but it shouldn’t be long before they do. EveryMatrix is the company’s distribution partner in the United States and successfully got Supremeland’s titles in the catalogs of BetMGM and DraftKings in New Jersey. There are currently 15 online casinos operating in Michigan and there are over 10,000 title slots combined.

“EveryMatrix is our distribution partner, and through their excellent network, we expect to have our games distributed to all the larger US online casino operators in each state. In New Jersey, we are delighted to have DraftKings, BetMGM, and Borgata, to name a few, providing our games. We are currently releasing our first three games and soon two more will come and before the end of the year we will have many more games to present to the market,” Öhrn added.

What’s Next?

The Michigan market was quite a coup for Supremeland as it is the second largest of the seven online casino markets in the country, trailing only Pennsylvania. In March 2024, online casino gaming in Michigan generated a whopping $215.2 million in revenue, which broke the previous record of $188 million set the month before.

As of this writing, Supremeland Gaming’s four online slot titles are Red Panda Rising, Munition Mine, Wild Quad Squad and Die Piñata Die. A company spokesperson said that its in-house design studio, Powderkeg, will “unveil multiple explosive titles in the coming months.” The more the merrier, as the public has an insatiable appetite for newer and better. Still, there is also something to be said for the classic titles that can stand the test of time and never get old.

Bonus Bonanza

As for which market Supremeland will enter next, that question is better answered by the company’s distributor. EveryMatrix Americas President Erik Nyman commented, “EveryMatrix has established a solid framework to develop third-party games on our platform that we distribute to our customers.

“We have selected a number of high-quality games studios to partner this way and very much appreciate the high-quality games Supremeland has developed on our platform. We are confident they will be appreciated by US players who will now also enjoy bonus capabilities across these games that haven’t been seen in the market until now.”
